Broadstairs and indeed Thanet has some fantastic cycling which is relatively easy as the area is pretty flat. There is 27 miles of cycle paths covering both cliff tops and inland. See www.vikingcostaltrail.co.uk where you can print off a full map and brochure. The house is situated just of the trial and we have a large shed in the garden in which to store your own bicycles. The Viking Coastal Trial has many sections with fantastic views and sections on paths without vehicle access which are particularty suitable for children.
We do have a couple of childrens bikes and a ladies bike which you are welcome to use. Please note that you do so at your own risk and are responsible for your own crash helmets and locks etc.
Childrens bikes would be suitable for about a 6 year old. There is one for a boy and one for a girl.
If you are more interested in walking, you can takle sections of the Viking Coastal Trail on foot to enjoy the stunning sceanary and coastal views.
